There should be great information on the Blumlein receding technique, amplifier design etc by the inventor himself.

On page 256 one can see a schematic of Blumlein, very similar looking to the schematic of the EMI RS61 microphone amplifier used in so many recordings that we love.


Blumlein was at EMI (Electric and Musical industries) CRL, Central Research Laboratories.

On the lower music staff we have a bass note and a number.
This defines what will be played on the upper staff.
The upper staff is already written by Bach as his wants to show how it is done, using numerous examples.


So for example F7, ie note F with number 7 above it, on the lower staff will justs means that we play:
Bass F and right hand plays A and C and E. (E is the seventh note with respect to bass, A is the third wrt bass which we add in such cases, and C is just the fifth which may or not be added).
So we have the chord of F A C E which is called F major 3rd major 7th that we enjoy so much so many times in the beautiful song without words:

Απλα οτι βλέπουμε στο κλειδί του Φα στο κατω πεντάγραμμ ειναι η νοτα του μπάσου (βαςης στα ελληνικα) και ένας αριθμος απο πανω.
Αυτα τα δυο διευθύνουν η υποδηλώνουν τι θα παίξει αυτοσχεδιαστικά το δεξί χέρι.
Πχ Μι9 σημαίνει οτι το δεξί χέρι θα παίξει Φα που ειναι η ένατη νοτα με αναφορα το μπαςο. Επισεις Σολ αφου προσθέτουμε και την τριτη σε τέτοιες περιπτώσεις [Μπαχ, Bach].


Αν πχ η κλίμακα ειναι Μι ελασονα, καθε Φα ειναι Φα διεση.


Ετςι το δεξί χέρι θα παίξει Σολ Σι Φα#.


Ετςι εχουμε την πανέμορφη συγχορδία Μι μπαςο Σολ Φα# στην οποία βασίζεται το αριστούργημα

Η ίδια συγχορδία φυσικά εμφανίζεται πολυ συχνά σε αριστουργήματα του Μπαχ οπως η Λειτουργία σε Σι ελασονα. Η μεγαλοφυΐα του Μπαχ και των κοντινών του οπως Niedt, Vivaldi, Marcello, Corelli κτλ εδειξε στην ανθρωπότητα πως αμέσως παράγεται η μουςικη χωρις να χρειάζεται κανεις να θυμάται σχεδόν τίποτα πέρα απο το σε πια κλίμακα βρίσκεσαι σε καθε φάση της η μουςικη σύνθεσης [Bach, Niedt].

H συγκεκριμένη συγχορδία Μι Σολ Φα# ονομάζεται Μι μικρης τριτης, μεγάλης ενάτης η Μι minor 3rd major 9th, η Μι μινόρε 3ης ματζορε 9ης, η Μι μινόρε, ματζορε 9ης η E minor 3rd major 9th [Piston].
