Modern Hellas instead of ancient Greece

The correct terms is Hellas (what is perhaps wrongly called ancient Greece).


And modern Hellas (what is perhaps wrongly called Greece).


It is called Ελλας. The word comes from Σελλας meaning light.


For example we have the Hellenistic period. It is not called Greekistic period.
