If Ia=140μA when the CV2269 grid is at space potential...

at 9V anode potential

(See CV2269 datasheet)

Then it should be great news. It may be possible to have a top quality, low noise mic booster amplifier with a CV2269 operated with open grid. Or grid returned to its self assumed potential. The potemtial that grid finds its self when there is no grid current. In an open grid there should be no grid current by definition.

So perhaps arranging the Pleiades V6 schematic...

Then no pull up resistor would be needed.

According to datasheet plate voltage should be about 9volts.
