The simplest single ended amplifier?
It is all even inside the A-level physics books:
Advanced Level Physics - Nelkon, Parker - 6th edition
A-Level Physics - Roger Munchaster - 3rd edition
(A nice section on diode electronic valves too)
The simplest amplifier?
A transistor, emitter to ground. A load at the collector. A bias resistor from collector to base.
It is the basis of most Pleiades amplifiers, e.g. Pleiades Electra, Pleiades 2N3053, Pleiades V6.
How nice does this simple amplifier sound.
