Hiding sound crapiness dust under the carpet

Is this what is happening when a tweeter is added to a wooden box speaker enclosure?

The boominess of conventional speakers with ported, vented or whatever designs? Are they doing what they are supposed to do, boomingly resonate at low frequencies?

Then it is the crapiness of standing waves created by multiple reflections inside a small wooden box that not even ants would use as a recording studio? Bad sound escapes the thin drive unit membrane to the outside world [Weems].

Then a tweeter is added to cover the muddy mess?

Then the marketing department is calling it Hi-Fi?

No wander the Quicny Jones of the planet use Auratone 5C speakers to get at least some decent midrange?
