How would a one transistor emitter follower power amp sound?

This is inspired by the JVC Nivico 9425W 70's portable radio cassette player which has a complimentary pair,  output takes from their emitters.

The JVC amplifier sounds brilliant and big. It compliments very nice the linoleum Pleiades 5C type monitoring cube speakers with the Tesla 5in fullrange unit.

Normally on one transistor DC coupled amplifiers the speaker is connected instead of a collector load resistor.

On the Pleiades 2N3055 power amplifier operating at 12V the amplifier output impedance seems to be a few times larger than the speaker impedance. It sounds nice and fluid but the impedance mismatch reduces the energy efficiency.

How would an amplifier like this sound by letting the emitter direct drive the 4Ω speaker?

Later addition:

It works and sounds great, loud, clear with great treble. See next after next post.
