With Pleiades bias it should be possible with a Nuvistor 7586.
The input transformer can be a 60? air turns of 1-2in diameter in parallel with a variable capacitor.
An antenna connected to the primary.
So perhaps modifying the Pleiades V6 amplifier.

Electron tubes can be very low noise at low anode voltage and low temperature. See previous posts.
If power output is not high it can always feed another amplifier with possibly phenomenal signal,to noise ratio as the overall performance of a system is dictated by the front end or first amplifying stage. Any defect at the front end is amplified by following stages.
How would an electron microscope or a radio telescope operate with front end a Pleiades V6 amplifier?
