There is anti scatting force, I do not know how it can be adjusted. Here is the proof: A long thin painters brush was fastened by flexible cable, pointing to the opposite side of the stylus. By sliding it balance was found. then the tonearm would accelerate towards the rest position.
The tracking force ( I do not know how it can be changed) was measured by a small digital scale to be 2.7gf. (grams force).
