At your risk.
For some reason a few days ago a few moments before waking up in the fresh air the thought, command came to monitor with headphones at a distance of at least the wavelength of the lowest note in music in air.
Deciding to do a rough calculation at less than 20Hz, say 10Hz the wavelength is of the order of 30 meters.
At such a distance monitoring on the great Sennheiser PX-100 headphones the producer listening would not be affected by the real sound of the performer. We do not need a studio glass in the forest.
Will it work?
We will use the Pleiades K117 XLR studio microphone preamplifier to interface with the 3.5mm to USB C mobile phone adapter.
Possible microphones (with windshield). Sennheiser MD421HN at low impedance, Shure Unidyne III at low Impedance. Would Fostex M88RP microphone or even the PX100 headphones not be damaged by some wind?
