Key

key

Every musical piece has its key signature.
It is this key that let us enter into its musical mood atmosphere.
The key is the set of the 7 notes chosen by the composer out of the 11
that exist in western culture. (all white and black keys are 11)

For example the Eminor key contains only one black note (F#)
It defines some of the best chords on our planet.
(Eminor, Bminor, Cmajor7, Aminor7, Dmajor, Gmajor, F#)

Some examples of songs written in Eminor:

Eagle   ABBA

The Animal Instict   THE CRANBERRIES

Ella Elle l' A   FRANCE GALL
