Her master's voice or her mistress voice
Would it be a good idea for a painting to be created with a cat instead of dog listening close to the sound of a fullrange drive unit with baffle?
While testing a Tesla 5in fullrange drive unit with hands acting as baffle, cat jumped on sofa and came very close to listen to Going to a Town - George Michael playing from YouTube on iPad mini connected to Tesla TVM ARX-130-20/4 from headphones out.
How would the cat react to her mistress voice?
How would a Pleiades one transistor amplifier feeding a Pleiades linoleum tetrahedron speaker sound on vocal PA?
The tetrahedron enclosure idea comes from Vicky.
Does phase response of brain on hearing perception depend on intensity?
We know from Fletcher Munson curves that loudness depends on intensity. Ie the amplitude frequency response of perception depends on intensity.
Does a similar situation exit for phase. For example does time delay of brain perception depend on intensity or frequency etc?
Impedance is a vector
This means it has amplitude and phase.
They both depend on frequency.
Frequency response of a system is a vector too.
Amplitude of frequency response is not enough for distortionless transmision. Phase is important too as all the frequency components must arrive at the same time to our ear (our brain?) in order for transients to be preserved [Moler].
This may explain why the best audio enthusiasts on the planet may use a single ended no feedback electron tube or transistor amplifier to drive a fullrange baffle or other low order speaker. Their ear or brain knows.
The best producers on the planet use a fullrange speaker too, for example Quincy Jones and engineer Bruce Swedien mixed Thriller - Michael Jackson on fullrange drive unit low order speakers. The Autatone 5C cubes.
