Could a bassier DC bias noise mask HF hiss

...Is it OK if I call you mine 06 track from Fame Soundtrack does not sound with either hass, mid noise or HF hiss yet when re recorded with DC bias, (See other posts). But the HF response needs to be improved before a conclusion could be made.
