The 2nd prototype with the same Staren brown cone and silver dome made in Taiwan is ready. Same packing box of 8x8x6 in^3. This box comes from Marrakesch BioEthanol Dekofeur, Caslo Milano.
In Girl from Iparema it sounded better on voice so all sound absorbing material has been removed from the 1st prototype.
Without the 3mm thick roofing felt and cotton 1in thick quilt, bass is somewhat less but midrange sounds more open and natural.
Both speakers were now connected in stereo directly to iPad's mini stereo headphone output. (No power amplifier).

Very impressive imaging.
Nice sound. Possibly due to no crossover network nastiness. Also due to no woofer, tweeter different location in space reproducing some common frequency band comb filtering nastiness and all that stuff...
The great production of Trevor Horn sounds big through these small speakers. Every instrument can be localized and there is depth of image.
Listening triangle dimensions is about 3-4 ft for each listening triangle side.
What next? Possibly trying 1mm thick elastomer panel mid, mid bass absorber inside the box.
