This too sounds big, deep bass on the tiny Pleides Auratone 5C type speakers just connected to iPad's mini headphone out. How is it possible? The thin material of the box cabinet vibrating and radiating?

The human brain must be doing a trick too. Distance from listener to speakers is about 20-24 inch as the iPad and speakers are just on the table.
