Jesus to a Child - George Michael

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ulhoKujT2G8

Full of figured bass code including 7ths of course creating major sevnth chords.

For example flute plays high D when bass is C creating a 9th interval (with respect to bass).

Other example, guitar passes from G when bass is A flat creating an A-flat major seventh chord.

Key is C minor. Ie all E, G, A are flat.

Listen also how percussion beats alternatively at 3rd and 2nd beat of each 4 beat measure.

Listen, play also Bach Bass Rules PDF

This post has an important listening mistake. Try to figure out if you have not already found out. Answer is down below.

The key is C sharp minor and not C minor.

This explains how it sounds so mysterious.

The track must have been compressed (AGC or automatic gain control) as when ever bass appears on 1st beat of a bar synth ducks down and reappears sonically.
