Amazing song by Mike Oldfield.
IMHO one of the best on the planet so far.
Have read that Mike dad been using a rhyme dictionary as an aid to compose lyrics.
Simon Philips had spent weeks on how to record the bass drum.
The song must be using varispeed at the vocal. Mike can tell us if he wishes to comment.
He had seen varispeed at work when visiting the BBC radiophonic workshop but of course he would have known already.
