Connecting two speakers out of phase

It was done yesterday while connecting 2 speakers to a mono radio output.

When speakers are connected out of phase singing voices which sound otherwise bass heavy sound much better.

Voices recorded in such a way that they sound correct to listener's brain (ie no bass heaviness) sound thin.

So this reminds the idea of connecting 2 omnidirectional microphones out of phase and singing to one of them. It may be used as a great production too for a correct sounding singing voice with. I bass heaviness. The total is noise canceling too. See older euroelectron posts.

The radio used is the JVC 9425W.

The speakers used are the Pleiades linoleum Vicky tetrahedron fullrange near field minitoring speakers with Tesla 5in drive unit. Speakers were standing on a linoleum 1m x 1m carpet on top of wooden floor. In a bedroom.
