The secret of EMI and BBC on absorbing low frequencies

A great way to absorb bass in a room is to use membranes of roofing felt.

As the elastic panel is made to vibrate from lf sound it flexes and the incoming wave is dissipated to heat. It should be best to use instead of roofing felt panels made of linoleum which is odorless. A nice company making linoleum is Tarkett.
