The pacman way.
Using 2 ring cores each with a section missing. Like 2 pacmen.
Wire is wound around both but not tight or wound round an external tubelike ring form.
When the gaps are aligned it is minimum inductance. When rotating one pacman core against the other the inductance is increased.
Can this be used on Pleiades (R,L) or L microphone filters for a parametric frequency adjustment?
Possibility of using a sandwich of more than one thinner ring pacman cores?
This and a previous idea (see a previous post) using a ring core with a missing part came by finding by chance somewhere while walking an iron ring with a missing bit looking like a pacman.
