How to make an input transformer for the Sony F-96 Low microphone to drive the grid of an electron tube

At your own risk.

Take all precautions when working with high or low voltage. Low voltage <10V needs caution too as the electric current involved can be high.

If you wish to make a battery powered electron tube prepreamplifier such as Pleiades V6 operating with only 3.7V, open source schematics can be found on euroelectron. Fuse should be used in series with a battery.

More information on the primary inductance of the input transformer for a Sony F-96 Low on the next Euroelectron post.

Pleiades transformer winding hints and suitable magnetic cores on other euroelectron posts.
