Is roofing felt the bass absorber where Eminem records vocals?

To investigate on this the following areas have to be examined.

The fact that BBC and EMI used flat sheets of elastomer roofing felt in their studios to convert bass reverberating frequencies to heat and therefore create extremely clean vocal recordings.

The fact that Bill Putnam is behind the design of the studio where Eminem records. Bill Putnam was making flat panel absorbers as can be seen in Beach Boys and Mamas and Papas vocal recording photos. Was he using roofing felt as the elastomer heat dissipating material?
