Supertwister in reverse (Even if the tape plays backwards the chord progression is preserved)

Supertwister - Camel, playing backwards, back in time, reversing the arrow of time, playing tape backwards.

The chords remain the same? as they have the pattern:

1 2 3 2  which repeats like a loop.

So

1 2 3 2 1 2 3 2 1 2 3 2

So backwards the brain remembers G7 (G minor 7th) which is the first chord. When played backwards the brain gives it again the first position and reading backwards the pattern we can see it still is:

1 2 3 2 1 2 3 2

This happened of course by accident by playing the tape in a wrong way.

The code of the piece (where the flute solo begins) is:

G7 A7 B7 A7

Since the piece is written in D minor which has B flat the code gives:

Gm7, Am7, Bbmaj7, Am7 (see reference).

It should sound interesting played backwards, chords the same, and reverbs, atacks etc out of space.

In fact the tape played wrongly was a cover version recorded direct to tape with 2 Grampian ribbon mics, a pair of Sowter 1:22 stepup transformers, and a Ferrograph series 6 (valve) electron tube 7.5 ips real to reel (real to real!) tape recorder.
