Sennheiser MD21 as binaural microphones

It would be nice to try 2 MD21 as binaural mics connected to SONY TCD5 PRO II.

They are fantastic sounding, omnidirectional.

They may be positioned next to each ear looking down, supported by a structure similar to headphones (support above head). The angled mic stand thread is very useful. Omnidirectional microphones sound correct theoretically at right angles, grazing incidence.

Pleiades filters of aproximately 82mH in parallel with each mic can be used to restore presence and reduce bass increase due to room, equal loudness curves, speech or singing effort curves etc. so that the balance sounds correct to the mind.
