The Greatest Recording Studios of all Time


It would be nice to have the most important information for each studio condensed.


With details of acoustics, photos, equipment, artist stories, producers.


Steeping in on such historic places one can immediately feel the ambience of present past and future. Is it the scary acoustics?, the historic past? The bright future?


Abbey Road Studios:
The idea was of Captain Ozmond Williams.
The studio was built on the big garden at the back of a house in Abbey Road.
Equipment were built by EMI's CRL, Central Research Laboratories and a key figure was electronic engineer and inventor Allan Blumlein

CBS wanted some new space and a former Armenian Orthdox church was found.
The technical department of CBS built the equipment.
