If not using parallel series combinations of mics ie the Pleiades way of connecting.
Another way is to preamplifier each mic separately with the K117 cable preamplifier.
So each mic is connected to an XLR for example fended that houses the K117 JFET and 220Ω resistor. Ie the preamplifier itself. Usually the other side of the preamplifie get cable will have a 1/8in stereo jack so that the preamp cable can be powered by the mic input of a device in the same way done for electret condenser mics.
Many such 1/8in jacks should be able to be connected together and the signal outs of each preamp cable added.
If this is the case 1/8in stereo headphone spotters can be used.
Would mono to stereo 1/8in jacks be useful too!
