What a speaker!
Relatively low voltage (24V-48V) may be used with the Pleiades trick of biasing with a high Megohm resistor from anode to grid. (The potential difference between grid and cathode can still be negative).
How would they also sound driving an output transformer feeding a sensitive 8 ohm speaker?
