How would Pleiades 2N3053 sound OTL driving high Z headphones?

At your own risk. Use extreme caution when using headphones. The signsl input to this amplifier must be adeguately attenuated. Headphones should not be worn while experimenting or while switching on or off, please use a dummy hi Z loudspeaker. Use low battery voltage. Use protecting fuse of very few mA to protect the drive units. Damage of hearing by using headphones can be easy and irreversible. We cannot judge when something is dangerously loud using headphones. We must always strive to reduce level when we feel we should increase it. Use adequate heat sinking to avoid thermal runway of the transistor.

Here is the schematic of Pleiades 2N3053, use much less voltage supply as this schematic can drive a sensitive loudspeaker with a few milliwatts to quite loud levels sending sound to many rooms. Use much more resistive attenuation etc at the input. Start with a very higher collector to bass resistor until you get only very few mA (less than 3mA?) through the headphones.

How would 2 such modified for lower power mono blocks sound when driving Sennheuser HD580?

Pleiades concepts and schematics are open source.
