A book with title "Playing with Electrons"?

A Pleiades book.

It would be nice if such a book existed.

Showing all the games that can be played with electron tubes

Especially operating with battery low anode potential made possible by high anode to grid resistors to free electrons. This compensates the internal nature produced negative bias.

Chapters could be:

How is sound transmitted by means of electrons

Fletcher Manson and voice effort curves firstly understood by Hollywood motion picture engineers.

How is sound amplified by electrons.

How music works.

Hit song ingredients.

Various open source Pleiades constructions of Class A (electrons flowing all the time) preamplifiers, headphone amplifiers, power amplifiers.

Studio quality battery powered electron tube preamplifiers for microphones.

Electric guitar and bass guitar electron tube battery powered Pleiades amplifiers.

Pleiades Electra headphone amplifiers.

Ie minimal circuits using usually just one electron tube, the simplicity giving the best possible sound quality on the planet.

Cable microphone pre preamplifiers such as the Pleiades K117 JFET pre preamplifier to be connected
directly to devices such as  iPad or iPhone for possibly the best studio quality sound and almost absent noise.

Experimenting with cathode temperature for best sound, and some food uncooked recipes too.

Pleiades concepts and schematics are open source. If anybody wishes to make a book out of the information given in euroelectron, you are more than welcome in this difficult task. Everything Pleiades is public domain.

As this is written 2 radios play Castle in the Snow - Kadebostany. There is still good music being made on our planet. If this book helps improve in this direction, and show the joy of making your own equipment, like EMI, A&R recording studios (Phil Ramone), Columbia studios New York for example did then it would be a success.

Before digitizing a signal it must sound right to our brain. The quality is dictated by the hierarchy from source to end product. Closer to the microphone capsule be it condenser, ribbon or moving coil is an analog electron amplifier that will dictate the quality of the end product.
