Walking on Air - Arise K, orchestra version

Very nice.

Very recently played by Kiss FM, Athens.

Written in F minor.

There is step bass in the introduction.

At the 3rd bar ie third descending step, the bass is D(flat) and somewhere very very high if you listen very carefully there is a C. So high it is like a forest sound. Together with D flat they make a D flat major 7th chord.

It is brilliant to see that pop music uses the code developed and (decoded from human pleasing perception?) by Niedt and Bach. On their manual the progression:

(Assuming F minor key)

F             ie F minor
E6           ie E flat 6th
D7          ie D flat major seventh

is so often displayed, which is exactly what the brilliant arranger did in this song.

It is amusing that almost no one knows the existence of this manual yet the best composers of any period or any genre of music use the principles.
