A great example of a C sharp minor song

Angel Eyes - ABBA

There are so few musical compositions on our planet written in the key or musical scale of C sharp minor.

One of the most difficult keys are almost all notes are black. C is C sharp, D is D sharp etc. Only E and B are natural. It may be a nightmare to play. But not if you think white or natural notes and add the sharps were needed. In music everything is referenced to the white notes. And everything is referenced to the bass. If you think about it this is how music is written on a score. The notes are always written natural or white. The sharps or flats are only indicated at the beginning near the clefs.

The C sharp minor key sounds fantastic, mysterious, out of this world.

Two more examples, find some more yourself.

Moonlight Sonata - Beethoven

Moonlight Shadow - Mike Oldfield
