Print through, pre echo or post echo. Possibly subtly preparing the human brain. See also 7ths, 6ths, 9ths chords etc prepared for the human brain [Bach].
Some many other subtle artifacts that possibly keep brain interested:
Reproduction can never be exactly the same.
Digital recording can record some of these subtle artifacts but cannot produce them.

"If the high frequency input level is increased still more beyond the saturation point, the signal on the tape decreases. This phenomenon is known as self-erasure. A high-level, high frequency signal not only erases itself as it is being recorded, but partially erases any other tone which is being recorded".
