Pleiades V7 preamplifier

It could be a 3 stage EF183 (triode connected) low noise battery powered preamplifier.

Possibly powered by 12V.

The first stage would possibly like Pleiades V4, 3.6V only for both heater and anode.

The final stage can be powered by 12V.

A potentiometer can be between the 1st and second stage.

Cathodes are grounded.

Resistors from anode to grid make operation possibly by compensating for the internal negative bias of the grids by electron cloud.

Advantages.

Extremely low noise.

Portability.

Simplicity needing no complicating and noise inducing power supply.

Easy to get as much of the big instatenious peak limited electron tube sound by adjusting the potentiometer.

Input and output transformers can be Pleiades transformers designed to compensate for excessive bass perception of needed. They can be made with Magneted Nanoperm Nanocrystalinne ring tape wound cores.

The Pleiades V7 would be able to amplify from the faintest microphone signal to directly driving headphones, or line level inputs at pristine quality. All stages will be operating in class A, ie electrons flowing all the time.
