Ain't Nobody - Thompson (songwriter Wolinski) Chords in Bach's figure bass notation

Bach would have been proud.

Listening to Ain't Nobody - Thompson, (Felix remix) to get the feel and then playing on a good piano the chords with the left hand and melody with the right sounds amazing.

Both hands better righter than the middle of the piano keyboard as full chords at low registers sound very confusing.

It is in D minor key ie all notes white except B which is B flat (black key).

In the begining we have D bass with D minor on the right hand. And then D bass with C major on the right hand! Great stuff. How beautiful it sounds.

Then Bb bass with D minor right hand (ie Bb major 7th) and then Bb with C major.

Summary:

D bass   D F A
D bass   C E G
Bb bass D F A
Bb bass C E G

If one is to play the melody with the right hand the left hand would short of need to play both bass and chords, ie all harmony and it could be as:

Remember to play just above middle C
D F A
D E G or D E G A
D F A
D E G A
B D F A (remember B is flat)
B C E G
B D F A
B C E G
D F A

Or in Bach's figured bass notation

D
D 2 4 5
D
C 2 4 5
B7 (the 3rd or 5th are taken too)
B 2 4 6
B7
B 2 4 6
D

You get the idea.
