Analog synthesizers are much like the human voice


There are similarities.


On voice production we have air supply, pulse by the the opening and closing of the vocal chords, frequency spectrum filters by the cavities in our body.


On analog synths we have current supply, square wave, triangular etc production, electronic frequency filters.


The difference is electrons instead of molecules.
