Recording is too reverberant and transfer to YouTube is through and MP3 file
Electrolytic capacitors had been changed around 2000 with top quality Panasonic gold for PSU, computer etc and Elna Starget before ROHS for signal paths on both units.
On recent years unit had been very occasionally switched on for flicks of second and then slowly tested for a while.
Today it was cleaned again and just switched on for milliseconds. It immediatly went to ON state.
Tomorrow it will be soft started leaving overnight the electrolytic capacitors chance to very slowly start reforming. Hopefully this will aid tomorrow slow start (on off wait back on for more time etc) and smooth unstressed reforming of the capacitors. It may be tried with the Pleiades 2N3053 one transistor amplifier per channel feeding the Sennheiser HD580 headphones or a Pleiades 2N4401 amplifier if time permits to try these transistors. Attention to sound presure levels on headphones especially is very important for hearing protection.
