Another way to make 200Ω microphones 800Ω.

Is connecting 4 of them in series (Christmas tree bulb way).

Power becomes x4. (If mics point the same source).

Impedance becomes x4.

Voltage becomes x4.

Noise should not become x4 are random signals add in a different way. Is this like changing from 1/4in tape to 1in?

If each mic is on a different voice or instrument, there it is, addition without a (mixing) adding console.

Of course each mic should be connected to a suitable R,L filter.  Ie a esitor in series with an inductor and the resultant in parallel with each mic. See gentle slope high pass or low cut Pleiades R,L filters. This is for making each mic sound flat frequency response from producer's brain to listener's brain. See previous posts and especially the Lowe, Morgan Hollywood reference.

One may get away by using just one gentle slope low cut, high pass Pleiadss (R,L) filter at the output of the total ie 800Ω.
