Who knows?
So far very good results have been obtained with Pleiades R,L filters directly connected to mic voice coil output (pins 2,3) for high pass at gentle slopes.
It should be not very difficult to try a capacitor box with a variable resitor in parallel.
Funnily enough the Pleiades V6 2DV4 Nuvistor electron tube mic booster amplifier when operated by just a 1.3V battery for both heater and anode has such low anode current that high pass filtering is archived in a very well sounding way. This happens by the interaction of the higher electron tube plate resistance and the inductance of the primary of the output transformer. An R, L filter. See previous posts on Pleiades V6 2DV4.
