This was done at Columbia EMI Athens studios by engineer Stelios Giannakopoulos. He borrowed another tape recorder from the transfer room. 2 machines were linked by the same tape in the control room. Delay was adjusted by varying the physical, distance between the 2 tape players.
Stelios got the idea from childhood memories of his hometown Nafplion where 2 or more choir progressions would ultimately meet at the same square. And from his teacher in music at school Haramis who would teach all the kids a vocal part. Then separate the children in 2 groups. The second group would begin later at his conducting signal.
