Overdubbing with no loss of generation

At your risk.

For example by removing the erase current link on a Ferrograph series 6 reel to reel.

Or covering the erase head of a Tascam Porta.

Or disconnecting the erase head of a Uher 4200 and using it as a crude playback monitor head with externally added time delay while overdubbing on the encoding head? Or just covering the erase head and finding other ways to know what is already recorded.

Or using a Sears Silvertone 524C reel to reel which has already the Add-It option.

Or Sony TC-D5 Pro.

On most of these equipment it has not been tried yet.

In fact it may be better for people to play live around mics. See previous today's post. This method could be used to overdub many musicians too.
