Following 2 dreams

The perhaps strange choice of a Nuvistor at extremely low plate voltage fed by a Sennheiser MD441 U3 would not had taken place if 2 dream were not followed.

The first dream in a flash of thought interrupted from sleep by a buzzing mosquito was why not using Nuvistor electron tubes too on the Pleiades low potential V6 experiments.

The second dream after some days was that a small box of Pleiades V6 electron tube mic booster amp was ready. But there was great embarrassment in a recording studio trying to connect an MD441. No matter what passive EQ was connected between mic and the booster front end amp, the sound was not correct.

For some strange reason today it is more realized that the direct connection of Sennheiser MD441 U3 to Pleiades V6 using the 2DV6 operated at 1.2V makes the sound correct at small mic distance without the need of further EQ.

So with just a world class mic, a space age electron tube, 2 brilliant transformers, 1 pull up resistor and one  AA 1.2V battery world class sound can be achieved. No EQ and minimum number of components.
