Οn the newer 2 studios of Athens Columbia EMI, studio 2 and 3, there were 2 basement echo chambers and an EMT plate.

Mostly Newmann U47, U48 microphones were used.

Instruments were isolated by acoustic screens.

Walls had membrane bass absorbers, roofing felt?

Membrane bass absorbers operate on the principle that a large membrane spaced from a wall is a reciprocal woofer. It receives bass energy and vibrates. Elastomer molecules deflected produce heat and therefore energy is desipated. Hence low frequency reverberation decreases. Early and years ahead of their time panel absorbers were made at All-India Radio by C.W. Goyder in 1947. The material that had been used for panels is linoleum [Guilford].
