An ingenious use of bass and code 1 3 5 7 9 11 13 in music

(Continued from)
http://euroelectron.blogspot.com/2018/08/the-rule-of-thumb-in-music-learning.html

An example is the brilliant song:

I've been waiting for a girl like you - Foreigner

At intro the bass stays the same and the code is:

A
A246
Therefore played:
A bass and A C E
A bass and G B D
(The corect sharps should be added according to the key used)

Then at the point were the choir enters the opposite seems to take place.
The right hand plays the same notes and the bass moves up down one step. Most or all of the 1 3 5 7 9 11 13 notes above bass are taken giving an out of this world cluster effect. All notes A B C D E F G seem to be played together. Note many of the notes are sharp, mostly black keys as the scale is A sharp minor.

Usually choice voices are played by the mixing desk on such ingenious music. One choir note at each fader. It may be the case too with this song.

For mixing desk played choir see also [Cunningham]:
