The figured bass of Just Hold Me

Figured bass or bass with numbers signifying the intervals or other parts above bass ie harmony can be read on the Bach-Niedt manual [Bach].

When no number is indicated it means the harmonic is the si ole harmonic triad ie 1 3 5.

So Sol is to be played Sol bass and Sol Si Re on the right hand.

If nites are doubled they can be omitted. For example the Sol on the anode example.

Or when for example a singer is to sing Re on the above example the Re can be omitted from accompanying instruments for the sake of clarity of voice. See for example the modern pop ballad Say Something I'm giving up on you. Or the introduction of 40th Symphony - Motzart (reading the full score while listening or playing on the piano is a very good ear training exercise as well as an orchestration, arrangement insight.

The numbered bas of Just Hold Me - Matia Mena, there may some unavoidable mistakes, is as follows.

The letter is the bass the numbers is chords or harmony.

So,for example A9 is played A bass, C E B. B is the 9th and the 3rd and 5th are added [Bass]. We add consonances ie 3rd and 5th in order to make agreeable to the listener's brain the 9th. So all together they sound amazing.
