How about a 3 electron tube hearing aid amp for a studio microphone preamplifier?

At your own risk always protect your hearing by listening at low levels.

Some relevant schematics may be:

If a vintage hearing aid has only 3 electron tubes, or 2 electron tubes and one transistor, or 3 transistors all operating in class A (electrons flowing all the time)...

Then how would such a top quality circuit sound by connecting say a Sennheiser MD21 with an input transformer or an MD21 HL using its internal transformer? Plates or anodes are at low 22V? potemtial so it may be a marvel of low noise amplification.

By connecting a suitable attenuator for protecting hearing, then Sennheiser HD580 studio quality headphones for example could be connected at the output.

How would it sound like?

Nice small boxes...

With a few stages of electron tube amplifiers...
