Pleiades V6 to Pleiades K117 to Pleiades 2N3053

At your risk. Protect your hearing. Always use a suitable fuse in series with a battery for safety or fire hazard protection.

Can the above signal path be used for a 3 active device battery powered amplifier form mic to headphone or line?

Always use a series fuse with a battery for safety.

The electron tube (for example grid at space potential of a pull up grid resitor to positive cathode or anode is not used) for example provides a low noise front end. (Even the cathode is more positive from grid due to electron emission, see previous posts and references).

The K117 JFET takes over with an input transformer if an output transformer is used on the V6. Or an interstage transformer (hi Z in hi Z out) for electron tube anode to JFET gate. Or RC coupling.

The relative low output impedance of the K117 JFET drives the base of the 2N3053 output stage power amplifier. The 2N3053 is powered by 1.3V. So is K117. Possibly too a Nuvistor 2DV4 powered by 1.3V for both heater and anode.

Below is the schematic of the Pleiades V6 front end. Other electron tubes can also be used. For example 7586 nuvistor, CV2269 (see Pleiades V1), a hearing aid subminiature electron tube?, larger direct heater electron tubes such as 1H4 etc.
