How is the Pleiades K117 preamplifier operated with 1.3V made

At your risk. Always connect a suitable fuse in series with a battery for safety.

More information and a schematic should be found on earlier posts.

This  is just actual component description by looking at the operating unit.

The Pleiades K117 operated by an AA 1.2V battery is as follows:

A very small box of aluminum just big enough to fit an AA battery holder, 2 1/4in female mono connectors and the K117 JFET with its passive surrounding components. A suitable fuse in series with battery should always be used for safety.

The input capacitor is a 47nF 100V MXT HQ metalised? film capacitor, by Philips?

It's other side connected to gate. Gate floating. This can be tricky if a charge appears at gate. A resistor needs to be momentary connected to gate for discharging it and resume normal gain.

The source resistor is brown, green, red ie 1.5K. Bypass electrolytic capacitor is a 22μF Starget Elna, magenta colored, before RHOS.

A K117 GR1E JFET is the heart of the amp or the amp itself.

Drain resistor is 1K8.

Output coupling capacitor is 1μF 63V PH. Both coupling capacitors are blue.

Battery is a 1.5V Duracell Alcaline LR6, AA.
