Other very interesting electron tube is the UV200.
They seem to operate with small plate potemtial.
For example the UV199 datasheet says the filament can be at the minimum value producing great results.

How would such electron tubes sound as a mic booster amplifier with the Pleiades V6 circuit with pull up bias or grid at space potemtial?
An early but not as early electron tube, the 1H4, sounded very nice and low noise at 9V plate potential and grid at space potemtial, no pull up resistor or grid leak. Filament at 1.3V. See previous posts.
