If 70μA is enough for an electron tube mic booster would the same apply for a JFET?


An anode current from 10μA to say 140μA can sound great on the Pleiades V6 amplifier.

Values of say more than 50μA give very low noise results. Values less than 50μA give low noise results and excellent sound too. Perhaps even more natural. See other today's post.


Would the same apply to using a JFET, eg K117?
