Pleiades V1 CV2269 1.3V or 1H4 at 9V and space potential

The mic used is the Sennheiser MD441 with the usual setup.

The Pleiades V1 sounded more civilized. There was more low cut so the mic has to be used closer. So less reverberation color gets in. There is a 60MΩ resistor from grid to 1.3V + or positive side of the filament.

The 1H4 operated at 9V gives much more gain. On these experiments the 1H4 grid is free or floating or at space potential. It finds itself to a slightly positive potential when 9V anode voltage is applied. When no voltage is applied it is a typically -150mV. This value should change with filament supply voltage ie cathode temperature.
